Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Part Time for Long Island City, NY. You will patrol government-related locations, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while upholding company values.

The role offers a Part Time schedule with a pay rate of $33.70 per hour. A concealed carry permit and an armed guard license are required, along with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and the public while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct armed patrols of facilities and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Verify authorized entry and report unusual activity per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with responders according to protocol.
• Maintain incident reports and activity logs as required by Allied Universal.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of assigned facilities and perimeters to deter incidents.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify authorized entry.
• Respond to alarms and incidents following established protocols.
• Prepare and maintain site incident reports and logs.
