Allied Universal in New York is seeking a Security Guard Part Time Armed Patrol in Long Island City. You will serve and safeguard clients, monitor and patrol assigned areas, and provide excellent customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values.

This position requires an armed guard card, a concealed carry permit, and a government location assignment. The role offers flexible day and night shifts with pay rate of $33.70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks required per federal, state, and local law.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and the public while following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner per post orders.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry; report suspicious activity.
• Maintain post qualifications and accurate incident reports and logs.
