Job summary

Allied Universal in Memphis, TN is seeking a Part-Time Armed Security Officer to protect staff, patients, and visitors at a healthcare facility. Patrols, access control, and incident response are core responsibilities, performed with professional courtesy and strong situational awareness.

You will work with a responsive team, receive training, and participate in our WeCare culture while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner following protocols.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization when required.
• Document incidents and patrol activities and report to leadership.
