Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Armed Security Officer in Charlotte, NC to protect clients at financial institutions and other sites. You will monitor premises, deter incidents, and respond professionally to emergencies while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include regular armed patrols, access control, incident reporting, and collaboration with site teams. A background in security or military service is preferred, with a valid Guard Card or license recommended.

Qualifications

• Armed security experience required; 1 year minimum.
• 4 years military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• Guard Card or license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution and follow procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access and verify credentials for restricted areas.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and logs per site procedures.
