Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time armed patrol in Charlotte, NC. The role includes conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to security concerns with professionalism.

You will carry out access-control responsibilities and emergency responses in a financial institution setting. Required 3+ years in security or related fields (or a college degree), armed guard license, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Armed guard card/license required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted; drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers while enforcing site procedures and access-control policies.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and professionally; document activities per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry points, verify authorized access, and maintain situational awareness of people and vehicles.
