Job summary

Prosegur is seeking a Part-Time Armed Security Officer in Memphis to protect people and property while delivering professional customer service. You will perform patrols, monitor access, observe and report hazards, and follow client post instructions to maintain a safe environment.

Qualified applicants must hold a valid Tennessee Armed License and a High School Diploma. Basic to intermediate computer and written/oral communication skills are preferred, and the role requires the ability to work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• TN Armed License required.
• Experience in security and customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while performing armed security duties.
• Promote safety by observing hazards and reporting them.
• Follow Prosegur and client post instructions and requirements.
• Complete training and stay familiar with safety procedures.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
• Demonstrate customer-service orientation and basic computer skills.
• Capable of routine foot patrols, lifting, and all-weather work as an armed officer.
• Must have a valid Tennessee Armed License.

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general armed security duties to our clients.
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Armed Security Officer.
• Must have a valid TN Armed License
