Job summary

This position offers a competitive hourly wage between $14.75 and $15.00.

The General Cleaner will help maintain custodial standards across areas including restrooms, break rooms, and entrances.

Job description

$15.00/hour. Part‑time position. 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM. 8‑hour schedule. The Burks Companies, Inc. (TBC) is looking to hire a General Cleaner (GC) to work the 3rd shift. Our General Cleaners are the core of who we are as a company. GC(s) are responsible for periodic cleaning tasks in accordance with cleaning schedules and standard operating procedures (SOP) that meet site and contract specifications. The General Cleaner is a part‑time position and maintains walkways, restrooms, break‑room areas, windows, entrances, waste receptacles and other areas of the facilities as assigned. Job schedule may vary depending on events; it is currently listed as 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM but may change.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• Completion of a high school diploma or GED is preferred but not necessary.
• You must be able to listen to and follow directions.

Previous cleaning experience is a plus, but training will be provided. Must follow safety policies and procedures – this is not an option.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, lifting, and squatting is required.

Salary: $14.75 – $15.00 per hour.
