Job summary

Operation Mobilization Canada is seeking a part-time Area Personnel Officer to support Field Leaders and Area Personnel Officers across the MENA region. The role emphasizes cross-cultural communication, organizational excellence, and careful handling of confidential information within OM guidelines.

The APO collaborates with international teams, travels as needed for meetings and field visits, and ideally bases within an OM ministry location in the MENA Area; remote work may be considered

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work across diverse cultures and contexts.
• Experience with HR information systems and OM platforms such as D365, Caleb, OpenPetra, or a willingness to learn them.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support Field Leaders and Field Personnel Officers across the MENA Area to promote personnel excellence.
• Collaborate with international teams and maintain strong cross-cultural relationships.
• Travel regionally and internationally as required for meetings, trainings, and field visits.
• Assist with confidential information handling and HR processes within OM policies.
