Job summary

The USC School of Architecture invites applicants for part-time faculty positions in architectural design. Candidates will teach undergraduate and/or graduate-level studios and seminars, from core design studios to advanced research studios. A Master of Architecture degree is required, with a minimum of 5 years of combined professional and teaching experience preferred.

Compensation and rank commensurate with experience. The core salary range is $48.00 - $75 per hour, for a 50% appointment.

Qualifications

• Master of Architecture degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of combined professional and teaching experience preferred.
• Proven track record of publication/exhibition is a plus.
• Ability to teach software, fabrication, media, or graphics.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate-level architectural design studios and seminars.
• Deliver courses ranging from core design studios to advanced research studios.
• Submit a teaching portfolio for evaluation.
