Job summary

The University of Southern California School of Architecture invites applications for part-time faculty positions in architectural design. Candidates will teach undergraduate and/or graduate-level design studios and seminars, ranging from core studio work to advanced research topics.

A teaching portfolio demonstrating engagement with contemporary architectural discourse and relevant technological, social, and cultural themes is required.

Qualifications

Overview

The USC School of Architecture invites applicants for part-time faculty positions in architectural design. Candidates will be able to teach undergraduate and/or graduate-level architectural design studios and seminars ranging from core design studios to advanced research studios. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a teaching portfolio that explores critical disciplinary approaches to contemporary architectural design discourse with technological, social, and cultural relevance. Compensation and rank to be commensurate with experience.

Compensation and Employment Status

The core salary range for this position is $48.00 - $75 per hour. This is a part-time, 50% position.

Qualifications
