Clovis Community College, part of the State Center Community College District, seeks an Anthropology Instructor to join a continuous pool for part-time faculty. The instructor will teach a variety of anthropology courses, adapt to face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats, and collaborate with colleagues to support diverse student needs while maintaining accurate records and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Master’s in anthropology or archaeology.
• Bachelor’s in anthropology/archaeology plus Master’s in sociology or biological sciences.
• California Community College credential (valid).
• Equivalent education and/or experience (requires equivalency).

Responsabilités

• Teach a part-time schedule of Anthropology courses as assigned.
• Use varied pedagogy and technology for face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff.
• Follow course outlines of record and approved curricula.
• Evaluate student progress with tests, assignments and exams.
• Provide course syllabi and maintain classroom records.
• Submit grading and evaluation reports on time.
• Make assignments across diverse instructional settings as needed.
• Fulfill duties of instructors as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Formation

Master’s in anthropology or archaeology

Bachelor’s in anthropology/archaeology + Master’s in sociology or biological sciences

California Community College credential (valid)
