Job summary

The Ohio State University Medical Center is seeking an Anesthesia Technician for the East Hospital to support the anesthesia team part-time. You will assist with setting up, inspecting, and calibrating anesthesia equipment, and help coordinate anesthesia and auto transfusion services in the James Operating Rooms.

Under the supervision of the Manager, Anesthesia Services, you will maintain safety standards, stock rooms, and ensure equipment readiness for procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of relevant experience required; 2-4 years preferred.
• Certifications related to anesthesia support are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, inspect, maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment.
• Coordinate Anesthesia and Auto transfusion services.
• Provide diagnostic and treatment support during critical care situations.
• Keep work areas stocked, clean and organized.
