Job summary

Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus is seeking an Anesthesia Technician for the East Hospital; Part Time. You will join a team supporting anesthesia services in the James Operating Rooms and other approved locations, coordinating equipment, autotransfusion support, and patient care logistics.

This role emphasizes safety, precision with equipment, and collaboration with nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgeons.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of relevant experience is required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Anesthesia and Auto transfusion services and provide technical/logistical support for surgical procedures.
• Set up, inspect, maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment.
• Follow safety standards for patients, staff and self.
