Job summary

William & Mary’s Civic & Community Engagement office seeks a part-time AmeriCorps Program Coordinator to support daily administrative operations and contribute to the success of the AmeriCorps program and its members.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in education, youth development, and program management, and will support the AmeriCorps member lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to training, placement, and offboarding.

Qualifications

• Experience managing administrative processes (approve timesheets, background checks, records).
• Proficiency with MS Office and adaptability to new technology.
• Strong organizational skills for coordinating and implementing programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and fiscal support for AmeriCorps grant activities.
• Review and approve member timesheets and liaise with site supervisors.
• Ensure required training, coaching, reflection, and supervision for members.
• Facilitate scheduling and registration for trainings and events.
• Process background checks and maintain AmeriCorps member files.
• Monitor participant engagement and data in data management systems.
• Support site visits and occasional coverage for site supervisor.
• May drive a WM van or personal vehicle to service sites.
