Job summary

Allied Universal in Normal, IL is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer - Alarm Response Driver to support an automotive manufacturing location. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to alarms while adhering to site policies and ensuring safety.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

A valid driver’s license is required.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out security-related procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations following site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry and document incidents and patrols.
Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
