Job summary

Allied Universal in Peoria, IL is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Driver Alarm Response to join our team on a part-time basis. You will provide security, perform patrols, monitor access, and respond to alarms while delivering excellent customer service at a utilities-related site.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 18+ years (21+ for certain armed roles), and the ability to complete a background check and drug screening. Pay is $17.75 per hour with day/evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Criminal history considered per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities-related site.
• Conduct regular and random foot/vehicle patrols of assigned areas and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access by verifying authorization and documenting arrivals/departures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies and notify responders.
• Prepare clear patrol and incident reports for Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
