Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard (Part Time Alarm Panel Monitor) in Montgomery, AL. The role focuses on guarding clients across commercial real estate spaces, delivering professional customer service, and maintaining a visible security presence.

You will patrol, monitor access, handle incidents, and report activities to site leadership. The position offers weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) and a pay rate of $16.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and personnel at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
