Huntleigh USA is seeking a Part-Time Passenger Services Agent at Birmingham Shuttlesworth International Airport. The role involves assisting travelers, including wheelchair services, guiding passengers, and maintaining a welcoming, professional environment.

Hours are about 18 per week with a $10.00 hourly pay. The position requires reliability, teamwork, and compliance with TSA and airport security protocols; interviews are in person.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED may be required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Reliable transportation and a reliable telephone contact number.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must successfully complete required background screening and fingerprinting.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required airport security credentials.

Responsabilités

• Safely transport passengers to and from airline gates, ticketing areas, baggage claim, and curbside locations.
• Assist passengers requiring wheelchair services with care, dignity, and professionalism.
• Provide airport information and directions to passengers.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with passengers, airline personnel, and airport staff.
• Coordinate passenger assistance requests with dispatchers and gate agents.
• Complete wheelchair service logs and other required documentation.
• Report accidents, incidents, and unusual events promptly.
• Follow TSA regulations, airport security requirements, and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
