As a Ramp Agent, you will be responsible for essential ramp service tasks, including loading and unloading baggage and cargo, marshalling aircraft, and performing water servicing. A focus on safety and attention to detail is crucial. This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
Responsibilities
- Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure.
- Load and unload cargo/baggage on and off aircraft.
- Safely operate ground support equipment, including belt loaders, tugs, and baggage carts, to transport cargo and baggage between the terminal, warehouse, and aircraft.
- Sort and load baggage efficiently.
- Perform ground service functions such as connecting/removing ground power and water service units.
- Assist with aircraft pushback, wing walking, and related guiding functions.
- Maintain a secure and safe work environment.
- Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift and handle heavy baggage (up to 50 lbs or more), valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, flexibility to work varied shifts, basic mechanical aptitude, and ability to pass background checks and airport security regulations. Fluency in English is required.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry baggage up to 50 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, and moving throughout the airport or warehouse.
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and climb stairs as needed.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Manual dexterity for handling documents, operating equipment, and radios.
- Extended periods on your feet during shifts.
- Good vision and hearing for monitoring and safety compliance.
- Capacity to work in confined and noisy environments.
