Job description

A Cruise/Port Agent will travel between The Port and the Airport locations. This position requires strong customer service skills as well as meeting a strict delivery schedule.

Responsibilities
  1. Sorting, tagging, and loading luggage into cages
  2. Sealing cages and loading into truck
  3. Performing daily vehicle inspections
  4. Driving delivery box truck safely and lawfully on highways and local streets
  5. Operating radio to communicate with dispatcher and supervisors
  6. Unloading cages off truck
  7. Unloading luggage from cages
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Have a valid driver's license & a clean driving record
  • Available to work Friday through Tuesday morning
  • Must be able to clear a background and drug screen
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs consistently throughout the shift
  • Experience in customer service preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Able to work in various outside weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, etc.)
  • Complete all required training including airport compliance
  • Able to obtain an airport, port, and TWIC badge
Additional Requirements

This location requires employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment, subject to any valid medical or religious accommodation.

Appearance Guidelines

Employees are expected to present a professional business-like image at all times. Dress, grooming, and personal hygiene should be appropriate to the work situation and consistent with the company's standards.

  • For all male employees, a fully grown, well-maintained mustache, beard, or goatee is permitted
  • Facial hair must be neatly trimmed to one-fourth of an inch in length and not present an unkempt appearance
  • No visible tattoos or body piercings are allowed. Tattoos must be covered by the uniform or other means as approved by management
  • Clean, well-maintained uniforms must be worn on shift
  • Additional requirements as specified by management
Physical Demands and Abilities

Employees regularly use hands and fingers, communicate with customers and employees, and frequently sit, reach, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. They must be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds and move quickly when needed. Visual abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to focus.
