Part-Time Aidesposition can be used to assist with the supervision of students during non-instructional activities before, during, and/or after the school day. Part-Time Aides can work for the school, but for no longer than 3.75 hours each day.
Some examples of duties that can be performed by Part-Time Aides include assisting with supervision of students:
Part-Time Aides cannot take on the duties of other clearly defined school-based positions, including but not limited to teacher’s assistants, instructional assistants, special education classroom assistants, children’s welfare attendants, security guards or aides, clerks, etc.
