Ivy Tech Community College is seeking adjunct faculty to teach AI-related courses as part-time, on a per-semester basis in Indiana. Responsibilities include delivering classes, developing course materials, and maintaining student records in line with FERPA and college policies.

Qualifications cover a range of paths to AAIT readiness, including master’s or bachelor’s degrees in IT or related fields, regional certifications, or documented IT teaching/excellence.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in information technology or a related field as required for AAIT program standard
• Bachelor’s degree with documentation in two or more areas as appropriate to the program
• Professional certification in IT
• Two years of in-field IT employment
• Evidence of IT teaching excellence or research/publications beneficial
• 18 semester hours of IT coursework or equivalent education demonstrated through CEUs/training

Responsabilités

• Facilitates student learning by delivering assigned classes per college policy and course objectives
• Uses technology to enhance instructional methods
• Develops/maintains outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials
• Maintains accurate student records and grades
• Engages with students to promote positive learning experiences
• Monitors and documents student performance and provides necessary interventions
• Interacts professionally and adheres to FERPA and college policies
• Implements emergency and safety procedures in classrooms/labs
• Performs other duties within program standards

Formation

Master’s degree or higher in information technology or related field

Bachelor’s degree in information technology with documentation in two or more

Professional certification in the field

Two years of in-field professional employment

Research and publication in the field

Documentation of at least 18 semester hours of relevant IT coursework
