Job summary

Bechtel in Washington, DC is seeking an AI Engineer - Finance to join the Finance Transformation and AI team. The role designs, builds, and deploys production-grade AI and automation solutions to modernize finance processes and improve decision-making.

You will work closely with finance stakeholders, data engineers, and IT to translate business needs into scalable AI applications, including ML models, generative AI, and workflow automations, with a strong emphasis on production readiness and

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions in a business environment.
• Experience with Python, SQL, and cloud/data platforms.
• Familiarity with FP&A, forecasting, and financial KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI, ML, and automation solutions across FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Controllers.
• Translate business problems into scalable, reusable AI solutions.
• Develop data pipelines and AI-enabled applications, including generative AI and workflow automation.
• Partner with finance stakeholders, data engineers, and IT to drive adoption.
• Ensure production readiness, governance, and monitoring of solutions.
• Contribute to reusable engineering patterns and standards.
