Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Senior AI Engineer - Finance to lead the design and delivery of production-grade AI/ML solutions across FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Controllers. You will shape problems, prototype, design scalable architectures, deploy to production, and drive adoption while mentoring others.

You will partner with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver measurable improvements in forecasting, planning, reporting, and operational workflows, influencing stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in finance or enterprise environments (FP&A, Treasury, Accounting, Reporting)
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data pipelines
• Experience with generative AI, LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows
• Track record taking solutions from prototype to production with measurable impact
• Excellent leadership, collaboration, and executive communication

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and scaling of AI/ML and automation for enterprise Finance use cases
• Own end-to-end delivery from problem framing to deployment and monitoring
• Define scalable architectures integrating data pipelines, models, APIs, and enterprise systems
• Collaborate with Finance leadership to prioritize use cases and measure outcomes
• Set engineering standards, code quality, testing, and governance for responsible AI
• Mentor team members and lead reviews through reusable solutions
• Translate complex concepts for senior stakeholders and drive adoption
