Job summary

Open Doors Academy is seeking a Part-Time Coordinator in Cleveland to implement school year and summer programming at our campus. The role reports to the Lead Coordinator and requires coordination with campus staff to ensure engaging, standards-aligned programming.

The position supports scholar development, works with partners, and involves some travel between sites. A high school diploma is required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred, and prior nonprofit youth-education experience is desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred in Education, Social Work, or related field.
• Experience in education in a nonprofit setting highly desirable.
• Previous experience working with youth required; K-12 teaching experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, implement, and lead daily and summer programming.
• Meet 3 times a year with school principals to assess needs and evaluate the program.
• Oversee academic learning time and collaborate with staff to engage scholars.
• Work with campus staff to recruit and retain students at each site.
• Deliver programming based on established curriculum and adjust for students' needs.
• Provide guidance to programming staff and volunteers daily.
• Maintain monthly programming reports with demographics and highlights.
• Ensure licensing requirements are met and coordinate with school staff.
