Bethany Athletic Club is seeking a Float Teacher to support the Bkids childcare team in Portland, OR. You will supervise and nurture infants to toddlers, primarily in Infants/Toddlers and assist with Preschool closing shifts.

The role is part-time with potential for additional hours and future opportunities. Must be 18+, meet Oregon licensing, and complete CPR/First Aid and health trainings. Benefits and club membership are included.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must meet Oregon Child Care Licensing Division requirements.
• Enrollment in the Central Background Registry may be required.
• CPR/First Aid training completed or in plan.

Responsabilités

• Provide afternoon classroom support in Infant and Wobbler rooms.
• Maintain teacher-to-child ratios and cover as needed.
• Assist with diapering, feeding, bottles, naps and transitions.
• Engage children in age-appropriate play and activities.
• Support lead teachers with cleaning, sanitizing and closing duties.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff.
• Follow all policies, licensing rules and safety procedures.
• Provide additional coverage when teachers are absent.
