OPK South of Middleburg is seeking a warm, nurturing Part Time Afternoon 1 Year Old Teacher to join our team in Middleburg, FL. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to support early development in a caring setting.

The ideal candidate will work from 2-4pm, bring patience and a passion for young children, and collaborate closely with families and staff to create a safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with infants or toddlers in licensed childcare or early education preferred.
• Knowledge of infant/toddler development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Reliable, patient, and passionate about early childhood education.
• Completed 45 DCF Hours.
• Ability to meet Florida DCF background screening requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for 1-year-old children during afternoon hours.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate updates to parents and guardians.
• Follow diapering, feeding, and nap routines.
• Ensure classroom cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
