Right At School is seeking part-time Educators to support after-school programs at Floresville Area Schools. You’ll lead activities, supervise students, and help with homework in a safe, structured environment.

This on-site role offers weekday afternoons with no weekends, paying $13–$15 per hour depending on education and experience, plus opportunities to gain real-world education experience and contribute to the local community. Minimum requirements apply.

Part-time After-School On-Call/Sub Staff We Call Our Educators:

School Location: Floresville Area Schools

Educator Pay Rate: $13-$15 (based on education and experience)

Program Hours: Able to cover as needed, Monday through Friday. No Weekends (must be available to work Monday through Friday)

Schedule: After School- 2:45 pm-6:30 pm and Full Day on student holidays/school closure day.

Texas State Requirements

What You’ll Do

• Greet and check in students at the start of each session; take attendance and maintain accurate records
• Plan and lead daily activities, games, and enrichment lessons appropriate for the age group you’re working with
• Facilitate homework time and support with academic tasks as needed
• Supervise students during free play, snack time, and transitions, ensuring a safe and structured environment
• Address minor conflicts or behavior issues using positive guidance techniques
• Communicate with parents/guardians at pick-up and drop-off regarding their child’s day
• Report incidents, injuries, or safety concerns to your Program Manager or site lead promptly; log incident reports
• Set up and clean up program space and materials each day
• Attend brief daily team meetings to coordinate with other staff

What We’re Looking For

• At least six months of experience working with children under 13 (preferred) in a licensed childcare center or school setting
• Comfortable leading groups of children in activities and games
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills with both children and adults
• Reliable and punctual; able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout a shift
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to support additional program locations if needed
