Job summary

FirstLight Home Care of Denver is seeking a part-time program facilitator to lead a one-hour after-school science enrichment class once a week for 8–10 weeks using a pre-set curriculum. You will engage elementary-age children (4–12) with hands-on activities, receive training, and be fingerprinted for background checks.

Requires reliable transportation and availability on at least two weekdays after 2 p.m. Pay is $50 per class conducted.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of elementary-age children (4–12) preferred.
• Available at least two weekdays after 2 p.m.
• Fingerprinted background checks required.
• Some college education.
• Fun and outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Lead a one-hour after-school science enrichment class weekly for 8–10 weeks using a pre-set curriculum.
• Engage young children with hands-on science activities and demonstrations.
• Occasional daytime programming if availability allows.
