Job summary

Dawat-e-Islami is seeking a Quran teacher to join our enthusiastic team. You will deliver Tajweed and Islamic Studies lessons for children aged 6–13, using our textbooks and learning materials, and provide regular progress feedback to parents.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 4:30pm–7:45pm. Ideal candidates hold Alim/Alima, Hifz, or Qiraat training; safeguarding checks are required; ongoing professional development will be provided; supportive teamwork is emphasized.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred).
• Alim/Alima, Hifz or Qiraat training completed.
• Excellent knowledge of Tajweed and Islamic Studies.
• Ability to work with children aged 6–13.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver innovative and engaging lessons in Tajweed and Islamic Studies.
• Ensure provision of high-quality education in line with the organisation's expectations.
• Teach children between the ages of 6-13.
• Use our textbooks, course books and other learning materials.
• Complete regular progress sheets and provide feedback summaries for parents.
• Follow the prescribed teaching timetable.
• Participate in ongoing training for continued professional development.
