Job summary

Henderson County Schools Etowah Elementary in Etowah, North Carolina seeks a PSPM Group Leader to supervise after-school activities. The role supports the PSPM Director and works with small groups to ensure a safe, engaging environment.

The position is temporary, part-time, 18 hours per week at $15.60 per hour, with required certifications to be earned after hire and community interaction with students and families.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Willing to earn required certifications (BSAC, Playground Safety, CPR/First Aid) and NC Health Exam.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the visual supervision of and interaction with specific groups of children.
• Contributes to an environment that insures the physical safety of all children.
• Contributes to an environment that meets the developmental needs of children at various ages.
• Contributes to an environment that accommodates the individual needs of children for rest, relaxation, physical activity, social interaction and/or study.
