This is a part-time position with hours 2:15pm–6:00pm on school days, and a wage of $16.07 per hour. Training and holiday coverage at Hardin Park Elementary may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all students participating in the after school program through supervision and discipline.
• Maintain student attendance and notify the Program Coordinator when a student is absent.
• Ensure students are picked up by an authorized parent/guardian.
• Report incidents or accidents to the Program Coordinator and notify parents daily.
• Report suspected child abuse or neglect to appropriate authorities.
• Supervise a group of up to 20 students.
• Interact with students respectfully and make them feel welcome.
• Develop and carry out weekly activity plans aligned with licensing standards.
