Job summary

Innovation Learning Ltd. is seeking a Resilience Coach for the 2026-2027 School Year at Thornton Central Elementary School, Thornton, NH. The role runs Monday to Friday, 2:45 PM to 5:00 PM, with a full five-day schedule and no partial shifts.

The position pays $20–$24 per hour, based on experience and region. The coach will foster a safe, engaging environment where students build confidence, life skills, and resilience through mentorship, enrichment, and academic support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with children in schools, childcare, camps, recreation programs, or youth organizations is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Reports To: Head Coach/Site Leadership

Schedule: Monday-Friday: 2:45PM-5PM

We are looking for candidates who are available to work the full schedule all five days of the week. We cannot accommodate partial shifts at this time

Position Overview

• Positive attitude, patience, and a genuine passion for youth development.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.

State Requirements:

Candidates must be 18 years old or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent and meet one of the following requirements:

• At least 600 hours of experience working with school aged children
• At least 3 credits in child development, education, recreation or related coursework from an accredited college/university
• Documentation of being a certified coach
• Documentation of 5 years of parenting experience
• Documentation from the state indicating eligibility to be a group leader in a school aged program

Physical Requirements

• Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout program hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds occasionally.
