Job summary

Hanover Public Schools in Hanover, Massachusetts is seeking a FACE Before & After School Program Instructor to supervise and support students in the after-school program across Cedar School, Center School, and Hanover Middle School. Schedule Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–6:00pm, with early release days 12:30-6:00pm.

You will promote positive behavior, oversee daily operations, ensure safety and confidentiality, and help develop social-emotional skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant childcare experience.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
• Completion of CPR, First Aid and EpiPen trainings.
• Completion of 10 hours of job-related professional development.

Responsibilities

• Promote and model positive behavior for a safe, inclusive environment.
• Oversee daily operations including attendance, dismissal, engagement, supervision, and communication.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and family information.
• Support social and emotional development of all students.
• Communicate professionally with students, families and colleagues.
