Job summary

Hanover Public Schools in Hanover, Massachusetts is seeking a FACE Before & After School Program Instructor to supervise and support students in the after-school program across Cedar School, Center School, and Hanover Middle School. Schedule Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–6:00pm, with early release days 12:30-6:00pm.

You will promote positive behavior, oversee daily operations, ensure safety and confidentiality, and help develop social-emotional skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant childcare experience.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
• Completion of CPR, First Aid and EpiPen trainings.
• Completion of 10 hours of job-related professional development.

Responsibilities

FACE Before & After School Program Instructor
Office of Family & Community Engagement (FACE)
Hanover Public Schools
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Variable Hours Based On Program Schedule and Enrollment, 2:30pm – 6:00pm. (Early Release Days 12:30 - 6:00pm).
Before and After School Programs are offered at Cedar School (K & 1), Center School (2-4) and Hanover Middle School (5–8).

Daily Operations

• Promote and model positive behavior for students that supports a safe, inclusive environment.
• Oversee daily operations of programs including attendance, dismissal, student engagement, supervision, and communication.
• Ensure program quality, compliance with safety standards, and professional conduct.
• Maintain confidentiality of all student and family information.
• Support the social and emotional development of all students.
• Develop and maintain professional working relationships with students, families and colleagues.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and family information.
• Communicate in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
• Upholds the values of the FACE organization in all program operations.

Instructor Requirements

Schedule
