Job summary

Family Service Association in Fall River, MA, is seeking an Assistant Group Leader for the after-school day care program. This part-time role is 12.5 hours/week, typically 2:00 or 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., with potential for up to 35 hours in summer/vacation weeks.

The position pays $16.50 per hour and includes a $500 signing bonus. Candidates must be at least 16, pass a CORI/SORI and fingerprint background check, and have a HS diploma or be enrolled in HS/related program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age and work under supervision.
• Must have a High School Diploma or be enrolled in HS, or be 18+ and work under supervision.
• Must be able to pass CORI/SORI and fingerprint background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children at all times.
• Implement planned daily activities.
• Assist Group Leader in planning and scheduling events.
• Assist in daily site setup and cleanup.
• Maintain equipment and daycare property.
• Report significant behaviors and injuries promptly.
• Coordinate with staff on goal sheets and charts.
• Perform Transportation Monitor duties as scheduled.
• Conduct yourself professionally at all times.
