South Shore YMCA in Scituate, MA seeks a Before and After School Assistant Group Leader for part-time hours. You will assist in implementing curriculum, provide homework help, and support a safe, nurturing afterschool environment at Wampatuck and Jenkins Elementary.

Shifts include Before School 6:45–9:00 AM and After School 2:45–6:00 PM, Monday–Friday, for grades K–5. Competitive hourly pay plus sick time and YMCA membership benefits are offered.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Experience with school-age children preferred.
• Reliable transportation; able to work across multiple locations as needed.
• Must pass EEC background check including fingerprinting.
• Knowledge of EEC regulations.
• Strong relationship-building with staff, children, families and volunteers.
• EEC PD hours; PQ Registry current.
• Must pass and maintain EEC CORI/SORI background checks (employer reimbursed).

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning and executing programs meeting EEC/HEPA/QRIS/CACFP standards and children's needs; accommodate children with disabilities per EEC and ADA.
• Assist in supervising program participants per EEC/QRIS standards; communicate staff requirements to supervisor.
• Build family relationships, assist with inquiries, and help recruit new families.
• Help keep program facilities and equipment safe, clean, and well maintained.
• Assist in engaging volunteers.
• Support YMCA fundraising activities and community partnerships.
