Job summary

Youth Guidance is seeking a Part-Time role at Carver Elementary School in Chicago, IL. The position involves direct supervision of students in before and after school programs, and assisting the Community Resource Coordinator with program promotion and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or student working towards a degree preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to resolve conflicts effectively, with a focus on supporting youth.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of students in before/after school programs.
• Promote Youth Guidance values and the assigned school.
• Collaborate to develop and facilitate before/after-school programs and curriculum.
• Assist students with homework and projects.
• Escort students to and from programs.
• Distribute program information and promote enrichment activities.
• Support regular school day administration and staff; communicate with parents.
• Provide conflict resolution with children, parents, and staff.
