Job summary

Mentoring Alliance is seeking an After School Program Leader to guide elementary students in enrichment activities. The role is part-time, non-exempt, averaging 17–20 hours per week, with Monday through Friday 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school year.

Candidates should align with our faith, pass background checks, and maintain a valid ID/driver's license. CPR/First Aid certification is required. We welcome applicants who are passionate about serving youth in a Christian ministry context and

Qualifications

• Agree with and exhibit behaviors in accordance with the Mentoring Alliance Statement of Faith.
• Must be at least 17 years of age; High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred and some post-secondary training highly preferred
• Have a passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
• Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
• Able to work Monday - Friday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
• Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
• Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
• Valid driver's license or Valid ID
• Legally allowed to work in the United States
• Have dependable transportation
• Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued
