Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking an After School Instructor to support students at a Stockton site. You'll provide homework help, academic support, and enrichment activities after school, fostering leadership, communication, and patient guidance.

Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week, 2:00pm–6:00pm, Monday–Friday, during the school year. You will work under the Extended Learning Opportunity Program Director and collaborate with families and community partners to help

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work with youth from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient in Google Suite (Classroom, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Demonstrated ability to engage with parents and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Implement after school activities across core program areas (academics, homework club, fitness, arts).
• Document schedules, lesson plans, and youth outcomes.
• Apply positive behavior and classroom management with children.
• Track attendance and support registration and outreach.
• Maintain health and safety standards and facility cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
