Job summary

Concorde Education, LLC partners with schools and community organizations to provide engaging enrichment experiences for elementary, middle, and high school students. Instructors deliver age-appropriate instruction across STEM, arts, coding, digital media, and academic enrichment in partner sites.

Programs are typically 8–10 weeks with rolling start dates; compensation is per hour and varies by assignment and geography.

Qualifications

• At least 60 completed college credits, or equivalent relevant professional experience when appropriate for the assignment.
• Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs.
• Experience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community organizations, athletic programs, private instruction, or similar environments.
• Strong communication, leadership, and group-management skills.
• Dependable, organized, and professional work habits.
• Knowledge, training, education, or professional experience relevant to one or more enrichment subjects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction
• Prepare for instructional sessions using provided curriculum, approved lesson plans, or appropriate instructor-developed activities
• Create a positive, respectful, inclusive, and appropriately supervised learning environment
• Encourage participation and adapt instruction to students with different ages, abilities, and experience levels
• Maintain appropriate classroom management and student supervision
• Communicate professionally with designated school personnel and Concorde Education representatives regarding attendance, scheduling, and program needs
• Follow applicable school policies, site procedures, safety expectations, and emergency protocols
• Arrive prepared and on time for all accepted instructional sessions
