Job summary

Concorde Education, LLC partners with schools and community organizations to offer enrichment programs for students across grade levels. We seek instructors from diverse backgrounds in education, technology, STEM, arts, athletics, and other specialties for rolling, part-time assignments.

Most assignments are in-person at partner sites in California, with compensation ranging from $50 to $65 per instructional hour.

Qualifications

• At least 60 completed college credits, or equivalent relevant professional experience when appropriate for the assignment.
• Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programs.
• Strong communication, leadership, and group-management skills.
• Dependable, organized, and professional work habits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction.
• Prepare for instructional sessions using provided curriculum, approved lesson plans, or appropriate instructor-developed activities.
• Create a positive, respectful, inclusive, and appropriately supervised learning environment.
• Encourage participation and adapt instruction to students with different ages, abilities, and experience levels.
• Maintain appropriate classroom management and student supervision.
• Communicate professionally with designated school personnel and Concorde Education representatives regarding attendance, scheduling, and program needs.
• Follow applicable school policies, site procedures, safety expectations, and emergency protocols.
• Arrive prepared and on time for all accepted instructional sessions.
