Job summary

Right At School is hiring an Educator in Yakima, WA to run before/after school programs. You will plan daily activities, lead engaging lessons, and ensure a safe, supportive environment that sparks a love of learning in children under 13.

The role requires strong customer service, teamwork, and flexibility. Candidates should meet the Washington state requirements, including First Aid/CPR and a background check, with eligibility for ongoing local program support.

Qualifications

• Customer service and relationship-building skills required.
• Experience with children under 13 preferred.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs and be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Review goals and updates daily; encourage collaboration and accountability.
• Prepare activities and curriculum for the day; organize daily fitness and educational activities.
• Lead by example; maintain a safe, nurturing environment and model positive guidance.
• Prioritize safety by monitoring the environment and following protocols; document attendance and incidents.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
