Job summary
Right At School seeks an Educator to support before and after school programs in the Pennoyer Illinois School District. This role emphasizes safety, structured activities, and a love of learning for children under 13.
Shifts run in the mornings and afternoons with a requirement to work five days per week where possible. Ideal candidates have at least one year of childcare or school-based experience, the ability to lift 25 lbs, and a commitment to healthy living and teamwork in a dynamic school
Qualifications
- At least one year of verifiable experience working with children under 13 in a childcare or school setting.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- First Aid and CPR certification in person (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
Responsibilities
- Lead daily activities and curriculum that are educational and engaging for children.
- Attend and contribute to daily program meetings and drive team accountability.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing environment and positive behavior guidance.
- Monitor safety, attendance, incidents, and observations per protocol.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
