Job summary

SFC Colorado Springs LLC dba Sticky Fingers Cooking® in Colorado Springs seeks part-time After School Children's Cooking Instructors to bring engaging, hands-on cooking classes to kids at various on-site locations.

You will lead hour-long sessions, develop kid-friendly recipes, and foster healthy eating habits for ages 3-18, with paid training, ongoing support, and a friendly schedule.

Qualifications

• Availability at least 2 days a week (2-5 pm).
• Commitment to teaching full sessions (4-12 weeks).
• ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain before teaching).
• Ability to manage and engage a group of 8-14 children with diverse backgrounds and academic levels.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate with our team in a timely manner.
• Punctual and reliable.
• No professional cooking experience required.
• Experience working with kids of varying ages is a plus.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required by districts and schools.

Responsibilities

• Lead hour-long cooking classes for children at on-site locations.
• Create recipes and teach ingredients and healthy foods.
• Review weekly curricula and prepare for instruction.
• Shop independently for fresh ingredients when needed.
• Teach basic kitchen skills and related topics.
• Engage with kids, parents, and school staff on a weekly basis.
