Chess Wizards in Baltimore, MD invites enthusiastic instructors to join our after-school program. Lead fun, interactive chess classes for elementary students, using our structured curriculum and materials.

You will travel to local schools, teach 1–5 classes per week, and earn $50–$65 per class. We provide full training, free chess classes, work flexibility, and opportunities for advancement within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children in educational, recreational, or mentoring settings.
• Ability to lead interactive, age-appropriate sessions and engage multiple students.
• Strong classroom presence with reliability and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students.
• Use structured curriculum to teach chess fundamentals and promote sportsmanship.
• Manage a lively classroom with confidence and positivity.
• Encourage problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Supervise students according to school safety protocols during arrivals, dismissal, and in-class activities.
• Travel to local school sites for each session.
