You'll wake children after naps, cover classrooms during breaks, lead the after-school program with homework help and outdoor activities, keep children safe and in ratio, greet families at pickup, and log daily notes in the Brightwheel app.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a Texas HHSC background check, including fingerprints
• Reliable availability every weekday 2:00-6:45 pm
• A warm, patient, dependable attitude with children and parents
• Comfort with phone apps (Brightwheel)

Responsibilities

• Support classrooms from 2:00 pm with wake-up, snack and break coverage
• Lead the after-school program: homework help, outdoor play and activities
• Keep children safe and in ratio as groups combine at the end of the day
• Greet families at pickup and release children only to authorized adults
• Log check-outs and daily notes in the Brightwheel app
• Complete the closing checklist with a teammate: clean, restock and lock up
