Kids Crossing Daycare is seeking a dependable Part-Time Closer to provide safe, nurturing care for children after school hours, with a consistent weekday schedule.

The role emphasizes afternoon supervision, help with snacks and daily care tasks, and strong communication with parents while preparing the classroom for the next day. There is potential to move into a full-time position in the future.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous childcare experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to pass required child care background checks.
• Must meet state requirements for employment in a licensed childcare program.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to complete required certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing, high-quality care to children.
• Supervise and actively engage with children during afternoon activities and play.
• Assist with snacks, toileting/diapering, and other daily care needs.
• Greet and communicate with parents during afternoon pick-up.
• Maintain a warm, welcoming environment for children and families.
• Complete end-of-day classroom cleaning and closing tasks.
• Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and prepared for the following day.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff.
• Follow all Kids Crossing policies and state childcare licensing requirements.
