Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions in Computer and Electrical Engineering. You will teach courses in person or online, prepare materials, grade work, and provide timely feedback to students.

Successful candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in computer or electrical engineering or a related field with relevant experience; master’s or doctoral degrees are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or related field, plus four years of relevant experience.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or related field, plus four years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes in person or online by delivering course content to students, preparing course materials and lesson plans, grading student work, and providing robust feedback in a timely manner.
• Address student questions in accordance with university, college/school, and department policies, and provide academic support to students as needed.
• Provide instruction consistent with the content and learning objectives of the regular course syllabus and, if required, with department course coordination policies; comply with university-wide student evaluation of instruction policies and peer observation policies.
• Adapt and learn new modes of instruction; be sensitive to the educational needs of a diverse student population.
