Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC seeks a Part-time Aerospace Medicine Physician to support our government customer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH. Occasional CONUS travel may be required.

You will provide medical expertise on readiness, medical data interpretation, and collaboration with USAF agencies, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and effective communication with stakeholders. This role emphasizes clinical and operational performance, manuscript development, and conference

Qualifications

• MD/DO with 5–10 years of experience.
• Aerospace Medicine residency completed.
• ABMS Aerospace Medicine board certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical expertise for readiness, data interpretation, and publications.
• Subject matter expert on readiness, medical, and operational data within USAF and DoD.
• Analyze medical records for validation and hypothesis development.
• Interface with USAFSAM/FE leadership and DoD professionals as required.
• Familiarity with USAF medical records systems and standards.
• Assist in drafting internal/external communications.
• Develop journal publications, papers, presentations, and other deliverables.
• Support conference participation with posters and manuscripts.
• Brief study findings at meetings and forums.
• Transfer knowledge of study products to AFRS and Air Force customers.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
